Blogging vs. Pen & Paper

Blogging is very different from writing on paper. Now in the world where technology is such a big deal, when a person types, it is so much faster and easier. Compared to handwritten work, a student, in this case, can get his/her work done faster, would actually end up writting more. Now a day a student does their homework by the hour. If a piece of work takes them too long them end up putting that aside and leaving it as is, the less time they take, the more they end up doing. and once again i say it is so much easier to blog than write papers. Also you do not need to worry about not losing your work, nor forgetting to turn it in.

Blog!

There were honestly some blog post I enjoyed doing. For example, the Six Word Story. There were also some blog dailies that were easy so they are always the more fun ones. But apart from that, my favorite one had to be the one with the¨"Gunsmoke" episode. I actually enjoyed that episode and ended up watching two. Yea, it was somewhat funny on the things they did, and how the men were back then, but i thin that is why I enjoyed it, because apart from that I doubt I would of liked it.

Preserving Union!

Abraham Lincoln´s main concern was to preserve the Union rather than slavery. This was because he found or thought that the union of  country was far more important than preserving slavery. Slavery was a way to get people what they wanted, when they did not want to work they got others to do it for them, when they did not want to get something for themselves or cook, and maintain the house, they had other to do that, Slaves for basically for a person´s want. But now on the other hand the  union benefits the whole country and even more, the people. It was as he thought the best for him, the country, and the people!

Incoming Immigrants!

Immigrants coming to the United States must have a million of feelings flowing through them, and have a plethora of emotions surrounding them making everything a million times worst. They must feel  a sadness in case they do not make it, but also a great relieve and happiness when they do. When they make it there they must have a great feeling inside that they made it to where they were  heading but also a little bit worried in case they can´t make it in!

The Song of the Shirt!

After reading the lyrics for "The Song of the Shirt," life seemed to be harsh. It didn´t sound like a very comfortable environment! Poverty seemed to be a big deal in the life of textile workers, you can easily tell this by the way the describe their physical features, and how they were always hungry. This reminded them as being slaves, they basically had no other option but this. Workers had to work from morning when the sun came out to night when stars and moon were the only source of light, it was work, work, work, hardly any break. They really had no other choice, not many options for people back then but factories. People were also said to be in terrible shape, they starved and worked their lives out.

"Rocky Raccoon"

The Beatles used many examples to portray the wild west. For example, they state how it started at the black mining hills, then into the town at a local saloon and a hoedown, they also said that Rocky Raccoon was equipped with a gun ready to shot off the legs of his rival; back then in the wild west you earned your name by a shootout and killing people. The tough ones were also always named by challenging two or more men in a shoot-out. Another thing the Beatles said in their song was that when the doctor came he was stinking of gin. It was knocked that men in the wild west were always drinking. Even though the Beatles portrayed the wild west through their song i don´t believe they are one-hundred percent accurate. they use many stereotypical examples. Yes. that set the setting for the song and it was easy to see it but they could of also added a couple of stuff to make it better for their song.

Amnesty for South.

During the Reconstruction there was a great debate over whether the South should be granted amnesty, and I somewhat agree with this. Even through all they did, everyone should be forgiven. but at the same time not everything could be forgiven. Yes, they had their faults and everything but it was not everyone´s fault. that is how they were taught so there is not much you could of done, and to get rid of it was definitely tough, since that is how they had grown up believing.
